So ... what is this?

It's a WEBLOG ... DUH!

It''s a Trash Can Blog where all you can find here are quips and blah blahs thrown from a person kicked to the other side of Malaysia, only to play with dogs, cats, lembu(s), kambing(s) etc ...

This particular blog is also a part-time photoblog.

And yes, this is a sequelae of the Friendster blog.

Me ... d' goreng

This is Leo the Roaring Tuah

She's a tiny blur dot that hails from from Kuching and is currently thrown into the alien world of veterinary medicine 'over the sea'. She likes to trash around with the bits and pieces in this thing called life.

Being blue is part of her culture. (blue shirt, blue bed sheets, blue mind @_@)

If you are one of those idiots whom ambik hati (english translation: eat every word she said) with what she craps around here, read this.

So piss off!

I've designed this blog-skin myself. I do not extract and modify anyone else's skin this time. Even the photos are mine. If you would like to use this blog skin, the templates or the pictures, e-mail me first before starting off with anything. It took me a whole sleep-deprived day to figure out how to create this.

how ignorance and sheer uncaringness can kill the thing we call human...

Lembu Yard...

Remember your beef? This is what happens when you're not eating your veggies...

My whole perspective of the quiet docile bovine is slowly changing...

Yesterday, I've realized something...

If you try stepping on a wasp (with shoes on lar!) very hard, it'll give out this bursting *popping* sound like stepping on a small air-filled plastic bubble.

I was walking up the stairs in Jabatan Sains Haiwan, trailing behind one of the staff when he suddenly delibrately stepped on something (I didn't realize it was a wasp until later) which gives this echo-ic *pop*. He looked back and sniggered, saying "Nanti benda ni serang orang lain..." and he pointed at this huge big black-yellow stripey ass of a tebuan.

I tried stepping on a bee, but ended up with a sick squishy sound and a black gooey mess beneath my sandal...

Sorry! My Yahoo bandwidth exceeded it's limit, so you can't see the video of Sharmini (my cosmate) 'torturing' a calf's ear...

Dogathon was incredible! Imagine 1500 people coming with huge bunches of dogs (some even bring 4!) eventhough Serdang's air reached around API 150. Even the first dog (his name is Itchy...don't ask why, I myself don't know) that participate for the first Dogathon even came...though the reason he's there is more for the food...

I'll elaborate more on Dogathon and upload pics later... The strain of a straight 2-weeks of exams right after Dogathon, last minute studying and the haze is immuno-suppressing my body. I'll continue after my flu and toothache clears up.

DOGATHON 2005!!!

Yeah....Like all committee members now going haywired with doggy event stuffs and annoying last minute additions and changes in our heads ( THE DAY OF THE EVENT IS THIS SUNDAY!!!), I'll be promoting to you.... DOGATHON 2005!!

Hand-Made Dogathon Banners hung around UPM

I don't want to sound like a nagging news reporter, so here to make it short... Dogathon is originally a marathon race for both dogs and owners held at Bukit Ekspo in UPM almost every early August, and as the years passed by (this will be our 9th year running it), it grows from a simple-running-around-the-hill thing to a huge mixture of dog fashion shows, carnivals, horse-rides, best tricks, dog shows, etc. and of course with the main dogathon event. This year is the seriously huge one so far, with Purina as our main sponsor since the first year and 15 and counting more co-sponsors. So to anyone around Klang Valley, around KL, around Serdang, Seri Kembangan, Petaling, Cheras, Putra Jaya...anywhere around UPM, KL, Selangor, N9, Melaka etc. ...dogs or no dogs, COME!!!! I BEG YOU!!! MAKE IT OUR BEST EVENT SO FAR!!! The Main theme this year is "Who Let The Dogs Out?!" and is mainly based on the cowboy era. Entrance is free, no age limit ( from 0 months old to 110 years old), but if you want your dogs to participate in any of the events, just register at our registration counter and pay just a small fee (it's for charity!). For more info go to this site : www.geocities.com/dogathon2005 or call the 2 people in the advert above, or even contact me.

Trust me...this will be one the biggest Dogathon our faculty ever organized and the one you'll ever remember... The whole committee is killing themselves to give you the best...

Our pamphlet (Limited 5000 pieces), a work design originally done by....ME!!! (and also the banner and the mag/newspaper advert--yerdehs..perasan diri :P ):

The full body view of the mixed Brahman bull caught just now...

And his gang of 3 stooges...

Not forgetting the kambings ... (though i didn't manage to get photos at the deer farm, i got a video from my coursemate's digicam)

The Katjang goats (So manja like dogs!)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Cute eh? The kid actually cried out like a human baby...We the evil people secara susah payahnya separated it from it's mother to cuddle it, to shower all our "CUTENYA!!!" thingies on it ( but in the end we let it go also wat!)...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

As a result of all the tugging and pulling and pushing of kambing horns... I was 'awarded' with tufts of goat hairs all over my cover-alls...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The people whom sama-sama berganding bahu wrestling with the goats...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Oh...and one whom still manage to be the cheerleader for all...

Dogathon 1 1/2 day & counting ....

The Cattle-ShittyPatty-Galore producer is having their sweet time regurgitating whatever they ate on the hill...

For student-oggling purpose...we caught a bull and a cow ... WITH NO HANDS!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Oh, by the way...the thing that holds the mixed Brahman bull above is the squeeze chute. That's why no super big tough man is required to catch him. The man with the white hair is Dr. Baljit, our Ruminant + Farm Mgm demonstrator.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Dr. Baljit happily swatting some flies while expressing his enthusiasm about some parts of the bull...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The typical Brahman hump infested with buffalo flies(this are not your normal domestic house flies, this one is even scarier)...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Like I said...not your typical house flies...

And next is the drooling Friesian cow that moo-es annoyingly almost every minute...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

A cow's ass for yew!...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Oh, and the drool from the mouth of the ass-owner...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Hey! Guess what! The cow's drooolingg all over me!

This is the face of your future beef...

So eat your vegetables...

Or else...

Or else you'll ended up being 'ditanduk' like him...

Again...Repeat... 3 more days to Dogathon...

The much awaited Ladang Trip (Farm Management + Ruminant Production) photos accumulated for the past 3 weeks...

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Approaching UPM's Taman Pertanian Universiti's Ladang Ternakan where they keep the cattle, deers (yes...deers...the shy shy big-antler-rusa) and the doggy-attitude kambings...

And look what greeted us!

SHIT!

And the culprit(s) are happily munching on a hill far away...

to be continued...

3 more days to dogathon...

COol! Me with the stripey-bleached hair!
